Symptoms

In PRODUCTION
R12.HR_PF.B.delta.6

When reverse terminating an employee end date of absence element is being removed when absence end-date was the same as the Termination date

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
----------------------------------
Expect Absence Element End Dates to remain untouched on reverse termination

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
----------------------------------
Employee 30083273-2 has an Absence and corresponding "Paid Absence" element entry from 20/Jan/2014 - 21/Jan/2014
Terminate with an Actual Leave Date of the same date 21/Jan/2014.
Reverse Terminate.
Can see absence element end date has been removed

The assignment was processed in Payruns in Feb & Mar with incorrect payments because this absence element is now open ended and so was incorrectly processed each period.
On investigating the reverse termination seems to have removed the end date from the Paid Absence element even though the Absence which created the element still has the end-date of 21/Jan/2014. The Paid Absence element from 20/1/14 has been updated by VGIRGZDYTE 22/1/14 15:31:01 which is the same as the last update on the End Employment screen when it was reverse terminated.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
----------------------------------
Only happens when end date on the absence element is same as termination date.
Paid Absence element is a recurring element

WORKAROUND
----------------------------------
Deleting and re-entering the absence corrects the element entry and retro then reprocesses correcting entries
