Symptoms

E-Business Suite R12 Application Object Library, Basic SysAdmin functions and maintenance issues

 

 



Fnd Debug is not writing to table fnd_log_messages.

FND Debug does not write any rows to the fnd_log_messages tables after the FND Diagnostics Profile is Set to 'Yes' at the Site Level, and the following select returns no rows:

SELECT count(*)
FROM fnd_log_messages;

0 rows


Expected Behavior
Expect FND Debugging to write to the fnd_log_messages tables.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set FND Debugging

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, dba/appsdba cannot enable fnd debugging.
