Receive error after Selecting the Expiration Period Type on a coupon issue modifier line - Expiration period type is invalid (Doc ID 2008288.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Modifiers Setup only

When attempting to save a coupon modifier after adding expiration details
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Expiration period type is invalid


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Oracle Pricing Manger > Modifiers > Modifier Setup
1. Create a Modifier Header Name = Type = ‘Promotion’ ‘COUPON EXPIRATION TEST’, number = ‘COUPON EXP’
2. Create modifier line 169344 for a discounted item (US1034 @ 10% off)
3. Create modifier line 169345 for the coupon issue. Get a LOV for Expiration Period Type
4. The seeded Period UOMs are available in the LOV. Select MTH and enter Expiration Period Type 3
5. Save - get error

Note
Expiration period type is invalid
