R12 AP/JL: Submit Single Payment Process Request And Receive Error 'Payment Process Request Already Exists' (Doc ID 2008290.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a Payment Process Request(PPR), the following error occurs.

Payment Process Request already exists.

Steps:


Payables Responsibility > Payments > Entry > Payments Manager
Click in “Submit Single Request” option.
Enter Payment Process Request Name.
Click in “Submit” option
See the error message “Payment Process Request already exists” is displayed.
