Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS)
Inventory Intercompany Invoicing
Goal
General Ledger / Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) introduce new concepts in Release12 of the Applications, differentiating between Intracompany and Intercompany.
Intracompany balancing rules applies:
a) To balance balancing segment values (bsvs) within a Legal Entity that is within a Ledger
b) To balance bsvs within a Ledger when there are no Legal Entities
Intercompany balancing applies:
a) To balance bsvs between Legal Entities
b) To balance bsvs between Ledgers
Inventory setup for Intercompany Invoicing has been defined with multiple Operating Units while there is only one Legal Entity under the Ledger.
Is this treated differently comparing to a similar case where multiple Operating Units existed in a context having more Legal Entities defined? Will Inventory Intercompany Invoicing be affected by Intra/Intercompany concepts in GL?
