Meter Reading Not Updating Even After Received Confirmation Message "Meter readings have been successfully created"

When attempting to enter new meter reading, the meter is not getting updated even though user received confirmation message "Meter readings have been successfully created"
Meter should be updated with the new meter reading value.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: EAM Maintenance Super User >>Asset>>Enter Asset Meter Reading
2. After Apply see confirmation message "Meter readings have been successfully created"
3. But when re-query the same meter and check Meter readings History the meter has not yet been updated
