RESEND Function In Transaction Monitor Is Not Working

On Oracle Applications 12.1.3, XML Gateway

The POXML transaction fails intermittently with:

'Failure connecting to server'

Now trying to RESEND a failed XML transaction using Transaction monitor but there is no action been performed.

The RESEND button should re trigger failed XML transaction.

The failed PO XML transaction triggers WFERROR as child activity with similar connection error. Now as SYSADMIN, check this WFERROR in status monitor and Retry, the activity completes and sends out the outbound document but the RESEND from Transaction monitor does not retries this activity probably because the parent item type is approved and set to COMPLETED and child activity which fails is not looked up.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch a POXML XML Outbound Transaction
2. Once you notice this outbound is FAILED. Try RESEND button using Transaction monitor but there is no action been performed.

Due to this issue, users cannot RESEND failed transaction. Workaround of retrying from Status monitor is still option, but for multiple failure, this cannot be attempted each time and hence needs RESEND to work.
