iStore Catalog Section Incorrectly Displays An Item From Another Operating Unit (OU) (Doc ID 2015697.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

iStore catalog section displays an item from another operating unit



A section that is setup for two operating units is displaying an item in iStore storefront catalog section that is assigned to the other operating unit only. The item is not assigned to the section in both operating units.
 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the items to be displayed only in the catalog sections for one of the operating units.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to the iStore Administrator for UK operating unit
2. Add the product 12345678 to the section id 89857
3. Go to the iStore Customer UI for the US operating unit
4. Choose the section 89857
5. The item 12345678 is incorrectly being displayed in the catalog page of the US operating unit

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users can see and try to order items for which are not assigned to their operating unit causing confusion.
