ORA-28113 Error When Saving a New Employee Record (Doc ID 2015709.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to create an employee, the following error occurs.

FRM-40735: PRE-INSERT trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-28113


Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open "People" form.
    (N) People > Enter and Maintain
  2. Enter employee information and save.
  3. Error occurs.

 

Changes

 Upgrade the system from R11i, where Patch:2832667 is applied.
