Symptoms
On 12.2.4 version, Inventory Transactions
After performing shipping transactions prior to WIP completions, Inventory is temporarily driven negative, and inventory organizations are configured to allow this. This works in R11.
Encounter error on subinventory transfer into the subinventory from which all sales order issue transactions are processed.
This may appear to be behavior similar to that discussed in MOS doc ID: 1935373.1, which was resolved in R12.1 in Patch 18345583:R12.INV.B.
However - there are some key differences:
1) This organization is not WMS-enabled
2) This is R12.2.4, not R12.1
Error
'Total Organization Quantity Cannot Become Negative when there are Reservations Present.'
Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Perform Shipping transactions prior to WIP completions, Inventory is temporarily driven negative which is allowed.
2. However, on subinventory transfer error occurs since inventory is negative
