Symptoms

NOTE: In the images/examples above or below and/or the attached document, user details / company name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Oracle Demo Vision instance).  Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

1:1 Intracompany rules were created for companies 100 - 200.

In the 'Options' area, Clearing Balancing Segment Value is selected to be in 'Use for all Journals'.

Creating a new journal to reflect a transaction between 100 - 200 does not use the Intracompany rule defined but instead it goes for the 'All Other - All Other' option.

The system inserts four 'Intracompany balancing line added by Posting' - two of them bringing the default Clearing balancing segment value (300) and two of them balancing the original Balancing Segment Values (100, 200).

The requirement is to use the 1:1 Intracompany rules defined to balance a journal between 100 - 200 companies and not the 'All Other - All Other' rule.
