(Doc ID 2017341.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.1.1 and later
Oracle Financials Common Modules - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS)
Journal Entry (GLXJEENT)

Symptoms

1:1 Intracompany rules were created for companies 100 - 200.

In the 'Options' area, Clearing Balancing Segment Value is selected to be in 'Use for all Journals'.

Creating a new journal to reflect a trasaction between 100 - 200 does not use the Intracompany rule defined but instead it goes for the 'All Other - All Other' option.

The system inserts four 'Intracompany balancing line added by Posting' - two of them bringing the default Clearing balancing segment value (300) and two of them balancing the original Balancing Segment Values (100, 200).

The requirement is to use the 1:1 Intracompany rules defined to balance a journal between 100 - 200 companies and not the 'All Other - All Other' rule.
