Large Request Output Is Truncated In Browser (Doc ID 2020280.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 03, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Concurrent Processing - Version 12.2.4 to 12.2.4 [Release 12.2]
Oracle Concurrent Processing - Version 12.2.3 to 12.2.3 [Release 12.2]
Microsoft Windows (32-bit)
Microsoft Windows Itanium (64-bit)

Symptoms

When large (multiple page wise, 10+) EBS concurrent reports are being viewed with a browser, the end of the report is being truncated. This occurs with several browsers (MSIE, FireFox, Chrome, etc). Analysis of the Concurrent Processing (CP) server and the Report Review Agent components (FNDFS / FNDWRR) does NOT reveal any issues.

The “FS Diagnostic Test Program” tested the FNDWRR.exe executable and did not find any truncation while delivering a file–all tests passed.

“When viewing the request with the Fiddler debugging tool, the following Protocol Violation Report is displayed:

#175 Content-Length mismatch: Response Header indicated 206,467 bytes, but server sent 195,840 bytes.”

The output file being viewed is only 201 KB (206,467 bytes). The uploaded back end file “o806683.out” is complete, but when its viewed from Apps with any browser it is being truncated.
