Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, US Payroll Tax Issues
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
For the past couple months the rate for MA SDI has been .34% which matches Vertex and is good.
Find that the Unacceptable Tax Balance Report is erroring with the message *** SDI ER Liability does not = .36% of SDI ER Taxable Balance ***, which is now a very old rate. It’s been happening since 1st quarter 2015.
We can see that the EMAC (Employer Medical Assistance Contribution) SDI tax rate has not been updated to 0.34 in Oracle Base table for State MA, due to which it is causing error in Unacceptable Tax Balance Report report.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect Unacceptable Tax Balance Report to not report MA SDI.
