Enter Date as Part of Journal Line DFF definition in Web ADI - after import date is not formatted correctly (Doc ID 2020695.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Web Applications Desktop Integrator - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Using the Journal Line DFF with attribute7 column defined with the ValueSet "GL_SRS_STANDARD_DATE".
The attribute behaves correctly when entered via the Journals Enter form. But, when imported via source GL Journal WebADI (Any standard WebADI layout with DFF using this date attribute) and upload the value of the attribute as (example) '01-MAY-2015' the form based application displays the date as "20-MAY-0001" after importing and viewing view the form.

This was working without issue in 11i  before upgrade.

This issue is not specific to the GL DFF or integrator. This can be reproduced in any WebADI template using a DFF with this date attribute for any application.

 Upgrade from 11i to R12.2
