Symptoms

With Level III  settlement turned on for Paymentech (PTK), credit cards are rejected due to the ranges.

With Level 3 settlement turned on for Paymentech (PTK) transactions are getting rejected for sending over Level III data for cards that are not actually Level III.

This has been noted for Mastercard transactions.

Chase Paymentech reports :
This is because Oracle only looks at the first 6 digits for the BIN range. Mastercard has started to go beyond that range to identify purchase cards.
PTK has instructed us to load the ranges for Oracle to review using the entire number and not truncating to the first 6 digits and last 3 digits as we have in the past.

Due to this issue, users cannot have Mastercard credit card transactions settled properly for Level III.
