Symptoms

in BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.150120

The sessions (connections from each data set or sql LOV) of a BIP Scheduled report persist after the BIP report completes.

The sessions remain until the OBIEE timeout as per the <ClientSessionExpireMinutes> parameter elapses.

These can be viewed in the Administration Dashboard under Manage Sessions.

Due to the number of sessions increasing, users may see performance issues or be unable to run reports.
