R12: OIE: How to Delete or Update an Assigned Credit Card (Doc ID 2022989.1)

Goal

Users are unable to delete or update assigned AMEX credit card via HTML form using the navigation Internet Expense Setup and Administration=>Expense Administration: Credit Cards: New Accounts form.    A credit card was assigned and activated via automatic matching during American Express Loader and Validation (or via Mastercard Loader and Validation, Visa Loader and Validation, etc) however the assignment was incorrect as it assigned the card based on employee ID instead of employee number.

How can the card be updated to reflect the correct card owner?
