Oracle Assets Not Updated By EAM Asset Move (Doc ID 2026237.1)

Oracle Assets is not updated by an eAM Asset Move.  The eAM Asset successfully synchronized with Fixed Assets, however, moving the eAM asset to a different organization using standard Asset Move functionality does not update Fixed Assets.

Expect that moved asset updates fixed assets for a new organization

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigation:  EAM Super User >> Assets >> Asset Numbers >> Asset Numbers

2. Create eAM Asset

3. Assign the Fixed Asset and Category to the eAM Asset

4. Synchronize the Fixed Asset and eAM Asset

5. Navigation:  Install Base Administrator  >> Setups >> Asset Location Setup

6. The source eAM/Inventory Location is mapped to the source Location

7.The source eAM/Inventory Location is mapped to the source FA Location

8. The destination eAM/Inventory Location is mapped to the destination Location

9. The destination eAM/Inventory Location is mapped to the destination FA Location

10. Navigation:  Asset Tracking Super User >> Item Instance >> Fixed Assets >> Fixed Assets

11. Query for the Instance and see that the relationship and category are correct

12. Navigation:  Maintenance Super User >> Assets >> Capital

13. Query for the Asset and choose 'Move Asset' from the View LOV

14. Select 'Direct Inter-Org Transfer' from the Move Type LOV

15. Enter the Destination Organization and Subinventory and click on the 'Apply' button

16. The Asset is successfully moved and the transaction displays in Inventory

17. The new eAM/Inventory location successfully displays in Asset Tracking

18. The Inter Org transaction displays in Install Base

19. Navigation:  Asset Tracking Super User >> View >> Requests >> Submit a New Request >> Single Request >> Select 'Interface Move Transactions to Oracle Assets' from the

20. Enter the Item Number in the 'Parameters' form and submit the request

21. Observe that the request completes with no errors

22. Observe that the report output shows no transactions were processed

23. Navigation:  Oracle Installed Base Agent User >>   Item Instance >> Item Instances >> Assets >> Assignments Tab

24. Observe that the location has not changed
