Online Enablement Report Shows An Issue With PA Table/column (Doc ID 2026819.1)

Goal

Running the post upgrade 12.2.+ scripts the following is reported as a problem:

There are Project(PA) tables having column's with names over 28 characters in the the Oracle E-Business suite as reported in the "Online patching enablement report" for release 12.2.+

Output from report is a follows:

DOC> "Base Column Name must be unique within 28 bytes"
DOC>
DOC> - P2: these columns cannot be revised using the same logical name
DOC> using Online Patching.
DOC> - Fix violations by renaming the column to a shorter base name.
DOC> SQL> alter table table_owner.table_name
DOC> rename column column_name to new_column_name;
DOC> SQL> ad_zd_table.patch(table_owner, table_name)
DOC> - Fixes can be deferred until there is a reason to patch the column.
DOC> Unused columns can be ignored.
DOC> Note: this check does not work prior to Online Patching Enablement.
