Split Claim Reason Code Reverting to the Parent Claim Reason Code (Doc ID 2028686.1)

Symptoms

12.2.3 version, CLAIMS

Split claim has the same reason code and claim type as the original claim and not the ones set-up during splitting.

The parent claim reason is assigned to child claim reason.

When a claim is split by using split tab, a new row is added with claim type and claim reason is delected other than that of header values and updated. The claim type and claim reason of child claim are defaulted to the parent claim values.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Responsibility: Oracle Trade Management User 
  2. Navigation: Claim
  3. Create Claim
  4. Open created claim and go to Split tab
  5. Add new row with claim type and claim reason other than that of header values and fill in amount
  6. Update claim
  7. Once the split claim is created, it has the same reason code and claim type as the original claim and not the ones which were set-up during splitting.
