Transactions Line Items APP-FND-00698: Flexfield Segment Combination Not Found (Doc ID 2028774.1)

Symptoms

12.2.3

In a MOAC environment, you are attempting to query in the Transactions Summary form.
When you query a second Transaction, from a different Operating Unit (OU) than first transaction you initially queried, then click buttons 'Open' then 'Line Items', you receive the following error:

APP-FND-00698: Flexfield segment combination not found.
Inform your system administrator that the combination identified by the unique ID number xxx could not be found in the combinations table for the flexfield structure identified by Application = INV, Flexfield Code = MSTK and Structure Number 101

Error happens on the second transaction.
As long as you remain in the form, the error only pops up and then the Line Items are displayed correctly.
If you close the form and reopen, the issue is back again.
- The error does not occur if you open two transactions from the same OU.
- Issue happens from the start.

Item validation organization has been setup.
The Line Items contained no invoice lines.

NOTE:
- this error only pops up once, then no more and the Line Items are then displayed correctly.
- The issue is occurring now and then, not replicable at will.
