R12: OIE: Fusion Expenses Mobile App 4.0: If User Selects Any Expense Type with DFF "No.Attending", Mobile App Will Not Allow Submission of the Expense Report (Doc ID 2030731.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Expenses - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After we applied the patch 21030421:R12.OIE.B and installed 4.0 new app, we observed one more critical issue in this new version related to Flexfields.

If user selects any expense type having flexfield "No.Attending", mobile app doesn't allow to submit the expense report. Once you try to submit thru the app and login into iExpense desktop application, it shows as Saved status. If you try to update that file in desktop iExpense, system doesn't allow to take it further and shows error:

Number of Attendees or Recipients - Please enter a whole positive number for the Number of Attendees field.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create expense report from mobile expenses
2. Select expense type that has flexfield No.Attending
3. Submit
4.Login into the iExpenses and it shows Saved status. System doesn't allow to go to next step and it shows error.
