On Oracle Applications 12.2,
when attempting to install 12.2.0,
the following error occurs:

Due to this, one cannot install the Oracle Database Home patches running the database install driver for the UAT instance without error:

RW-50010: Error: - script has returned an error: 1
RW-50004: Error code received when running external process. Check log file for details.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install R12.2 on OEL Linux x86_64.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete the 12.2 installation successfully.
