Receipt Journal Report Ends in Rep-4 Error When Customer name Parameter Contains the Quote Character (') (Doc ID 2031838.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1 version, Reports Issues

When attempting to run RECEIPT JOURNAL REPORT the following error is showing in the report log

REP-69: Internal error
REP-57054: In-process job terminated:Terminated with error:

This error happens only for customer with quote character (')  in the customer's name, like "A's Customer" 

 

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Navigate to Reports / Accounting
  2. Query Receipt Journal Report
  3. Choose parameters:

    Customer Name Low: A's Customer

    Customer Name High: A's Customer

  4. Submit
