Information in this document applies to any platform.
(i) Employee submitted expense report
(ii) Manager seleted "Request more information"
(iii) Manager did not approve Expense Report as was waiting on response from employee (which wasn't submitted)
(iv) Workflow continued to calculate timeout, and after timeout and appropriate loops, escalated the report to the next person.
(v) Next person approved report as is
(vi) Report was not selected for audit per rules and was imported into Payables and paid
Issue is that the report should have been modified and more receipts added, but because workflow didn't pause the process when request more information was selected it continued processing.
(i) if the auditor "request more information" - the workflow is stopped , until information is provided
client expects that if manager requests more information, the workflow should not conitnue until the information is provided
- what is happening is that the employee does not respond to the managers request for information and the workflow times out and then
report is escalated to the next approver....yet, employee has never provided the requested information
