Full Payment Submission (FPS) - Additional Reporting Does Not Pick Up Terminated Assignments When the Employee is Not Terminated (Doc ID 2032847.1)

Last updated on JULY 26, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (UK) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Full Payment Submission (FPS) - Additional Reporting does not pick up terminated assignments (late leavers) when the Person is not terminated.

Example:

An employee moves from one payroll to another, but is not terminated.  A second assignment is created (#####-2) for the new payroll and is made the primary assignment.  The original assignment has status changed to "Terminate Assignment'.  Each payroll has a separate PAYE reference.  Moving the employee from the first payroll to the second payroll makes the employee a leaver for the first payroll.  The 'normal' FPS report handles this correctly, but if the change is made after the FPS has been run, the 'Full Payment Submission (FPS) - Additional Reporting' process does not pick up the assignment as a late leaver.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Ran RTI - Full Payment Submission (FPS) - Additional Reporting request
2. Review details
3. Late leavers are not reported if one assignment is terminated
