Disable LOV By Clicking Enter In Mobile Pages (Doc ID 2036344.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 08, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On 12.1.3 in Production:

LOV is not invoked by entering 'Enter' button from menu path:

Navigation: Whse Mgmt > Warehousing > Returns

Whereas, for menu path:

Navigation: Whse Mgmt > Warehousing > Inventory > Transfer > Serial sub Transfer

the LOV is invoked by entering 'Enter' button.

STEPS
--------

Checked mwa.cfg for setting of 'mwa.ActivateLOVByEnter'. See it setup as: mwa.ActivateLOVByEnter=FALSE

Navigation: Whse Mgmt > Warehousing > TEC-Returns
- Trying to invoke LOV using 'Enter' button does not bring back values

Navigation: Whse Mgmt > Warehousing > Inventory > Transfer > Serial sub Transfer
- Trying to invoke LOV using 'Enter' button here returns values. This is not what is supposed to happen.

This Business is looking for a way to be able to disable the LOV by clicking the Enter button across mobile pages.
However, as it stands right now, it appears there is no current restriction that allows this since users are able to invoke the LOV by entering 'Enter' button in one menu path/page while another disallows it.
Looking for further validation if there can be any fix/setup required so that the LOV is not invoked by entering 'Enter' button from e.g. serial sub transfer related mobile page or any other mobile page.
