Symptoms

On QA - Oracle Quality, 12.2.4 version, SUPPORT

When attempting to enter quality results the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
FRM-40831: Truncation occured: Value too long for field TARGET

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Quality or WIP
2. When doing a move transaction or directly enter quality results
3. See that the above error occurs.

Issue is not due to Setup. The Character limit of below Item is hard-coded as 30 and the Specification is having the Target value of 150 characters.

Form : QLTRSMDF.fmb
Block : Q_SPECS
Item : TARGET
Properties : Datatype- char,Maximum Length - 30.

Form : WIPTXSFM.fmb
Block : Q_SPECS
Item : TARGET
Properties : Datatype- char,Maximum Length - 30

This is the issue at form Maximum limit is set to 30, where it should have been 150 characters.

Need to change the Maximum Length for the item TARGET as 150 which is correct as per the specification and also the Table QA.QA_SPEC_CHARS which is having length of 150 characters.
