In Supplier Applicability, the system allows the exclusion rate to be set without any limitation of rate percentage (i.e. only 0-100%).
Expect to see a limitation for this field.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: AR ARS AP SUPPLIER MAINTENANCE
2. Path: Supplier Applicability
3. Go to the Exemptions
Supplier: SUPPLIER SA
Withholding Tax Type: 11002_GANANCIA
Supplier Withholding Tax Codes
Tax Code: I_BIE_11002 (Primary)
Start Date: 01-FEB-2015
End Date: 31-JUL-2015
The system allows the exclusion rate to be set without any limitation of rate percentage (i.e. only 0-100%).
Supplier HP was set up to 850% and calculated over 19 million Pesos to that supplier because of this issue.
Later it was changed to 100%.
The system calculates based on the rate field and over pays the suppliers, this case was detected and corrected
on time due to the big calculation amount but if it occurs again and with some smaller amounts maybe they would be undetected
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot limit the value entered on the Rate field.
