Statement on Non-Standard updates to Data Not Posted in Closed GL Periods (Doc ID 2039388.1)

Symptoms

 Client has closed a period in General Ledger (GL) with either:

1)  Exceptions resulting in U / I (Unprocessed / Invalid) events in xla_events

OR

2)  Events which are in P / P (Processed / Posted) but which have xla_ae_headers.gl_transfer_status_code of 'N', meaning they were not transferred to GL.

For a subledger that uses SubLedger Accounting to post entries to GL.

Client has opted to do manual journals to deal with the missing journals and is now requesting that Support modify the data somehow to make the items disappear either from Create Accounting (if U/I) or the SubLedger Period Close Exception Report (both conditions).
