Symptoms

When attempting to use a custom responsibility to view the Endeca Workbench
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Exception Reasons: There was an error when trying to access the data source. Please confirm with your system administrator that the data source is available
Work Order Overview: Unable to execute the EQL query that generates the chart data. See the application log for details or contact system administration
Filter: A data source error has occurred.
Production Metrics: This component requires additional configuration

 

Please note that all custom responsibility headings appear.  But the data does not appear.  Messages similar to the above appear



STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.  Custom Responsibility: .... Information Discovery -> Endeca Discrete Work Order Dashboard
2.  Encounter the error found above
