Why is Grade Field Is Being Set To Blank In Transfer Function After Selecting New Position (Doc ID 2042807.1)

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP5 version, Assignment,Term,Pay,ChgMgr,LOA

Grade field is being set to blank in Transfer function after selecting new position while using the Transfer function.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Manager Self Service
2. Click on Transfer
3. Select an Employee
4. Initiate Transfer
5. Change Position
6. Refresh causes Grade to be removed
7. Re-initiate Transfer
8. Remove Department
9. Remove Job
10. Grade stays
11. Performed change of Position in Core forms
12. The grade value stays.
13. Changed the profile set up
14. The Grade is set to blank when position changed


If the Department and Job is removed first and then new Position added the Grade value stays.


HR: Position Default Options for SSHR is blank at site level.
HR:Override Grade Defaults is Yes at site level
HR:Use Grade Defaults is No at site level.
