Unable To Update Email Address On People Management Template (Doc ID 2045490.1)

Symptoms

On :  12.1.3 version, Person / Assignment Issues

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR  
---------------
On the Person template -> Communications tab, the Email Address field is greyed out for employees and contingent workers  (CWKs) who have a future termination
They are however able to update the email address after the end date has passed.
Tested on custom and seeded templates.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect to be able to change/enter email address in the template as is possible in the Enter and Maintain form

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. People->Maintain Using Templates->Maintain Employees
2. Query a person with a future termination and see Email Address field is greyed out
