Compare Terms In Clause Versions Is Not Accurate When The Clause Versions Are Created (Doc ID 2045850.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 23, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Procurement Contracts - Version 12.1.3 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When comparing versions of clauses after some changes are incorporated in the new version  and when comparing the latest two

versions, the changes are not reflected accurately.  Expect the changes in the clause versions to be reflected correctly.

STEPS

-----------------------

The Issue can be reproduced as shown below:

Contract Terms Library Administrator(R)

Contracts(N)  Contract Terms Library and Clauses
Search for a clause and click on Title to show the current version text.
Click on ‘Create New Version’ on the top and create a new version of the clause.
Modify the Text for e.g. add a word or some changes at the start of the clause text and save and approve
Requery the Clause, after it is approved and select update and  click on Version History
Select latest two versions to compare and click on Compare
The first box which is to show the “change tracking”, does not show the first part of the clause.
