Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Sourcing - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Sourcing, Release 12.2.4, when a supplier creates a quote, the values for the Target Quantity and Quote Quantity fields on the quote line are displayed in different formats.

Example: The "Target Quantity" field displays as value "1,200" while the Quote Quantity field displays as "1200".

It is expected that both fields display in the same format.

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. As the internal Sourcing Super User or Sourcing Buyer, create an RFQ with one line for quantity 1200. Add a supplier and publish the RFQ.
2. The supplier logs in, using Sourcing Supplier responsibility, and creates the quote against the RFQ created in Step 1 above.
3. On the Create Quote page, click the Lines tab.
The Target Quantity is displayed as "1,200" and the Quote Quantity is displayed as "1200".
4. Click the Update (pencil) icon for the line. On the resulting "Create Quote: Line 1" page, the Target Quantity again is displayed as "1,200" and the Quote Quantity is still displayed as "1200".

Business Impact

Due to this issue, users are viewing different formats for the quantity information. It is a cosmetic issue and there is no loss of functionality.
