Quick Sales Order Contact Update From Sales Order Form

You use quick sales order as part of your daily order entry and create contacts on the fly based on the customer who walks in to buy the material. When the contacts are created there is a good chance users are entering the incorrect information, and in case they want to edit the contact email address, phone number or any other attribute - they need to contact customer maintenance team which is really an inconvenience to have to go through to update just one contact.
Is there a way to update the contact information from the Quick Sales Order form rather than navigating to the AR Customer form, thus preventing user to contact the customer maintenance team for this task?
