MFS Multiplatform: UTF-8 Encoding; Special Characters Misinterpreted In The MFS multiplatform Application (Doc ID 2047080.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


Special characters are not correctly displayed in the Mobile Field Service Multiplatform (MFS MP) client application for several fields; Lists of Values (e.g. SR status lov), values for Task Description and/or Descriptive Flexfields. Interestingly, field labels that contain special characters look ok. Special characters that are not displayed correctly are replaced by a question mark ('?') on the client.
