R12.2: Profile Option "Upload File Size Limit" Uses Bytes Measurement Instead Of Kilobytes In Email Center (Doc ID 2048716.1)

Symptoms

When an agent attempts to upload a file that has a byte size exceeding the KB value specified in the profile option 'Upload File Size Limit', the following error occurs:

Error

This file could not be uploaded because the file size exceeds the limit of xxxxxxx bytes.


Steps

1. Set the profile option 'Upload File Size Limit' at Site level to a KB value (Eg 100000)

2. In Email Center application, attempt to upload an attachment that is larger than 100000 bytes

3. See the error message:  "This file could not be uploaded because the file size exceeds the limit of 100000 bytes."
