Symptoms
Deployment of Web Service fails with error similar to the following:
Exception 'oracle.apps.fnd.isg.mgmt.common.error.ISGManagementException: oracle.apps.fnd.isg.mgmt.common.error.ISGManagementException: oracle.apps.fnd.isg.mgmt.common.error.ISGManagementException: Error encountered in remote method.oracle.apps.fnd.isg.common.error.ISGException : Unable to finish the deploy task oracle.apps.fnd.isg.common.error.ISGException : Error in preliminaries steps of attaching policy and assigning log level. java.lang.NullPointerException : name cannot be null' occurred when attempting to perform 'DEPLOY'.
