Pay Period Cost in Self-Service are Calculating to Half the Value

On 12.1 HRMS RUP7 version with General Setup / Configuration,

When making elections via Self-Service > Benefits, the per pay period rates are calculating incorrectly.

Upon selecting an option, the value displayed for the per pay period cost is not expected to change.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to responsibility Employee Self-Service and select Benefits.
2. Access the Update Benefits: Update Enrollments page and make a selection.
3. Click the Recalculate button.
Rates change to half the per pay period value.
