Expiring Instances From Configuration Confirmation Screen Shows Instances Which Have Not Been Expired

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After expiring a child instance via the Install Base UI, the confirmation screen displays the message "All selected Item Instances have been expired." and shows a table of instances which includes the parent of the child which was expired. Only the child instance was expired, the parent instance is still active.
This is confusing and contradictory.
The table of expired instances should show ONLY the instances that were expired and not the parent instance as well
Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Oracle Installed Base Agent User > Item Instances > Item Instance
2. Query for child instance
3. Select instance and click Expire button
4. Select instance from next page and click Apply button
5. Confirmation message appears but list of instances shows unexpired parent instance also
