Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, Performance

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
PERFORMANCE ISSUE WITH PROGRAM MTH: PROCESS TRANSACTIONS
The concurrent program MTH_PROCESS_TRANSACTIONS, when run in incremental mode for tag data, is taking longer to run than it takes to generate the data it should load. When first run for 10 minutes of data, it would take less than 2 minutes to complete. To process the same amount of data today, it takes over 20 minutes to process. We were running the process every 10 minutes which created locks due to multiple instances of the concurrent program running simultaneously.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It is required that the concurrent program complete faster than it takes to generate tag data, I.E. 10 minutes worth of tag data must be processed in less than 10 minutes.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Manufacturing Operations Center Administrator
2. Nav: Setup -> Run Request -> Single Request ->
3. Submit MTH:Process Transactions concurrent request
