We should be able to scan the item UPC code (barcode label) during Onhand query, workorder creation and WIP Issue.
We are thinking of using "Item Cross Referencing" as UPC as cross reference type

Oracle supports "Cross Reference" value in following forms
a) Material workbench (Onhand) and
b) Workorder creation (Material requirements)

However, the One step material issue (WIP Issue) supports only "item number" and "Item description". It does not support Item Cross reference.
If it's not possible, it'll force us to relabel (barcode) for all MRO items with Oracle item number which is a huge task.

In a way, we are looking the reverse functionality mentioned in the document 1565486.1
**One Step Issue - Need To Turn Off Cross Reference Functionality For Material Search (Doc ID 1565486.1)**
