Missing Workflow On Sales Order Lines

Missing workflow error
You are getting error message 'WorkFlow status is not available. The workflow history may be purged' inconsistently for some sales orders when navigating Tools > Workflow Status at Line.
Thus lines not getting progressed for these orders.
So far this issue has been experienced on specific Order Types but not on all orders.
This issue is appearing in Production instances for certain orders.
