Symptoms
The trace file output path on Concurrent Diagnostics Alert is different with the actual path after upgrading E-Business Suite (EBS) to database 12c
This can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Upgrade to database 12c.
2. Select (M)Help -> Diagnostics -> Trace -> Trace with Binds to view trace logs, alert menu shows the path location where trace file could be found:
$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/log
3. However the actual path of concurrent trace file path is like:＜diagnostic_dest＞/diag/rdbms/SID/SID/trace.
Changes
Upgrade EBS Database to 12c.
