On Oracle Applications 12.1.3, IAS for Applications Technology
when attempting to open E-Business Suite (EBS) homepage,
the following error occurs:

Unable to generate forwarding URL. Exception: oracle.apps.fnd.common.AppsException: java.lang.NullPointerException: null Connection

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open the EBS homepage.
2. The error results.

Checked Profile value of "Initialization SQL Statement - Custom" is null.

Checked MO: Security Profile" and it is not an invalid non-number value.
