Symptoms

When attempting to add new Buyer the following error occurs when entering the new Buyer and clicking on the Save button:

The above message only occurs if the number of buyers on the system exceeds the value of profile "FND: View Object Max Fetch Size".


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Set profile "FND: View Object Max Fetch Size"  = value that is less than the number of Buyers
2. Navigate to Purchasing Super User Responsibility => Setup => Personnel => Buyers
3. Click on the add buyer button, the page queries for all the existing buyers (but no error occurs here)
4. After entering in a new buyer, click save, and the error occurred
