Error When Updating Recurring Element Entry with QuickPay Run

Symptoms
Problem Statement:
When attempting to run QuickPay run, following error occurs.
Error was encountered when processing assignment &ASGNO
Error was encountered when processing Element Type &ETNAME
Cannot update recurring element entry for assignment &ASSIGNMENT and element &ELEMENT_NAME.
Reason: The attempt to update the standard recurring element entry for assignment number &ASSIGNMENT and element &ELEMENT_NAME has failed. This is due to the payroll run being asked to perform a correction on the entry. This is not allowed.
Action: Either perform the payroll run on a different date or alter the entry to avoid its effective start date being on the date of the payroll run.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Create element entry starting on 01-JAN-2015.
- Run QuickPay, specifying Date Paid as 01-JAN-2015.
- Error occurs.
