During Requisition Import, the Create Releases Program Is Allowing the Federal Global Attributes for GTAS/BETC to Be Null But Need to Always Be Populated (Doc ID 2058740.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 29, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Oracle U.S. Federal Financials - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Oracle GTAS requires specific global attributes to be populated for purchase orders and blanket releases for Federal suppliers.

Requisitions from external systems are being imported and then the "Create Releases" program is being called - there is no validation going on and releases are successfully reserved and approved in Oracle purchasing without the BETC/TAS global attribute values

Steps to Reproduce the issue

In a Federal Financials instance where GTAS/BETC global attributes are required do the following

  1. Create a req with an item sourced to a blanket for a federal vendor/supplier
  2. Import a req and have create releases run
  3. Validate that the release that is created is approved and reserved
