The LOV on the Owner field on Recipes shows duplicate user names under some circumstances.
This occurs when there are Direct and Indirect responsibility assignments. Per the AOL team, the query behind the LOV, shown below, should include a DISTINCT:
select a.user_name, a.description, a.user_id
from fnd_user a, fnd_user_resp_groups b, org_access_view c
where a.user_id = b.user_id
and b.responsibility_id = c.responsibility_id
and c.responsibility_id = :parameter.resp_id
and c.organization_id = :gmd_recipes.owner_organization_id
order by 1;
The view fnd_user_resp_groups is returning multiple rows for a responsibility_id.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Retrieve a recipe
2. Do an LOV on the Owner field
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, duplicate data is displayed.
